That is always a very interesting question! For some reason I find both beautiful. The dollar bill for it's design elements [the scenic designer in me escapes!] and the shears because of the colors and the shine.
I think the money is ugly because it is dirty and causes so many people so much hurt and confusion. The scissors are beautiful because they are a tool used for creating and general everyday use. From the simple to the complicated. And, they are shiney!
