Gesso'd a big canvas (3ft x 6ft) today. Tomorrow add the wash and wednesday add drawings done on tracing paper with shellac.

my back as base to ribs on top. shellac soaked paper between my back and applied ribs - transperant - suggesting lungs and internal struggle - muted color with flecks of color (red, blue?) scattered 5' x 4' big rivots like Lee, wire reference (plate 76, 61, 6)

It's this stupid pride that makes me feel like I have to follow through even half-assedly, loving you. Why must I always speak in terms of cowardice? When I guess I should have just come out and told you right from the start. Why must I always tell you what I want is this?

Nothing new

Just a lot of thoughts running through my head. I had an idea - but I forgot it. I hate that. I was just about to fall asleep and I said out loud"don't forget that!" - guess what? - I forgot it. I feel scattered and unfocused. I need new brushes and canvas but I can't afford them. I need to scrounge and see what I can come up with. Maybe I can use the fabric I have already as canvas? Why not? Cover it with gesso - that would be ok, right? It'll stretch over stretchers after I gesso it, right? I hate money. Or the lack of it. It makes you such a prisoner sometimes.
I also hate this health care debate or as I like to call it a bunch of white men who will never have to worry about whether their baby will be turned away from the emergency room, or have an illegal abortion, or not get equal treatment for their cancer 'cuz they don't have the super special insurance debacle!
Get real people.
Everybody pony up 20 dollars and put it in the pot. Done! Everybody gets the same quality care, no questions asked. Uh oh, sounds SOCIALIST to me.....I'm unAmerican, Gitmo here I come!

Did a large painting 3 x 5 today. Who knows what I am doing???

Need canvas...

Cut up a painted over angel today. Felt good to recycle. Made ribs out of it. No putting it back together. Ever.

Did a lot of sketches yesterday. I feel like I'm losing my idea. Gotta recapture it because I think it's a good one. I need it right now and I need the process. I need a real ribcage. Maybe I can go to the store and pick one up. :p
